I have been in the desert for many years. Not a single raindrop yet, but till I was fifteen. That was when an hour glass turned over. One side is full with oceans, rivers, water. The other side was drained, where I lived, but over these years, my skin was so dried, you can see the veins three inches over but under my skin. My skin had large lumps infected by scorpions, bees, and venomous coral snakes. Sand. Sand is everywhere. Even if you dig 10 feet below the ground, nothing but sand. My eyes are horribly red and dry.
